Jagged Edge, Clonakilty

At the corner of No. 26 Connolly St and No. 1 Kent St in Clonakilty, West Cork, is the refurbished fit-out for the new site of the Jagged Edge Hair Salon. Formally a public house, the protected structure required careful detailing, joinery, and a sensitive approach to the colour scheme and material selection of the project. We worked closely with the clients to develop the brief for such a specific use of an existing space. The use of natural North Eastern light was ideal in complimenting the selected internal task lighting. A high contrast colour scheme using a traditional palette was used to highlight a bright, clean and contemporary look to a traditional West Cork town location.
