This bespoke design outside Clonakilty, West Cork, is a replacement of a traditional farmstead in a secluded rural setting. Traditional rural forms and proportions make up the main house which addresses the entrance and a smaller single storey element to the rear with a contemporary glazed circulation link connecting the two. The use of traditional forms and agricultural materials help this dwelling to naturally sit into its surroundings.
